  Thunder Alley Transmissions was established in 1995, with the aim of providing quality repair services, and exceptional customer service.   What was started as a small 1-man business eventually had to evolve into what you see today, with 3 employees working in a 3,600 sq. ft. shop, and over 34 years experience in the transmission service industry, all based around providing you, the customer, with the best in quality and service.

  Located in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada, right in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, we are lucky to have many beautiful areas to explore.  These areas range from cruising the beaches, and winery tours, to checking out some of the more remote areas for small lake fishing, and camping.  With so many opportunities surrounding us it is inevitable that people are going to experience mechanical breakdowns, and are going to be looking to have quality work performed on their vehicle.  If the problem is caused by a transmission failure, you should be sure to take it to a Transmission Specialist, that will be able to properly diagnose and repair the problem.

  Thunder Alley Transmissions specializes in both Automatic and Standard transmissions and trans-axles, as well as transfer cases, clutches, and differentials.

  We also build custom Hi-Performance Transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials, to be used in special applications, such as 4x4's, hot-rods, conversions, and racing.  Many of our custom transmissions are being utilized in Blown-Alcohol injected door cars, Dragsters, and Altereds, as well as a Bonneville Salt Flats racer.
